Interviewing people about safety in London on a toilet
Why the toilets you might ask?
A toilet offers immediate privacy and therefore temporary socio-spatial comfort and psychological security through the act of locking the door.
I know that using the toilet to talk about safety is controversial as they are and seen as dirty, inaccessible places.
However isn’t it time to change that narrative? To change the way we look at toilets. There are many unused toilets in London which could become safe accessible spaces.
