ABOUT

Jemima Sara (b. 1997) is a London-based artist whose work merges diaristic text, drawing, and installation to explore the humour and chaos of everyday life.

Trained in Puppetry: Performance and Design at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (2018) and MA Fine Art: Drawing at Camberwell, UAL (2021), Ingram Prize finalist (2024) Jemima Sara transforms raw inner monologues into expressive visual narratives. Known for her "martini ladies" and spontaneous ink text, her art reflects on vulnerability, visibility, and self-reflection.

Jemima Sara is currently living and working in South East London. If you wish to visit Jemima Sara in her studio or see a catalogue of art works, please email info@jemimasara.co.uk
